The Worst Universities in Michigan in 2017

7. Lake Michigan College

Location: Benton Harbor, Michigan

Number of Students: 1,186

Acceptance Rate: 100%

This place is where your soul goes to die, then in heaven goes to rehab, only to flunk and go to hell. Six years after graduating, Lake Michigan College graduates earn a median annual salary of $24,100—much lower than the national average of $33,028. Students have reported that it’s difficult to register for the classes they want and that the workload is overwhelming. Plus, the library is incredibly small, even for the low population of the school. There’s no diversity and student life is uneventful overall. No wonder 82% of students decide to run for the hills before graduation. We would get out of there as fast as possible too.
