The Worst Universities in Michigan in 2017

11. Schoolcraft College

Location: Livonia, Michigan

Number of Students: 3,148

Acceptance Rate: 100%

The guy in the right of this photo says it all. Wistfully wondering why his life has led up to this fateful point. While it sounds like it could be a satellite campus of Hogwarts, Schoolcraft College is far from magical. The $5,000 yearly tuition is cheap enough, but, in this case, you get what you pay for. The school offers little help when it comes to career services and most of the instructors are unqualified to teach at the university level. The school doesn’t have a great reputation among employers and a degree from here won’t carry much weight in the job world. That’s probably why 83% of students leave here before graduation. Better off backpacking around the world and becoming a yoga teacher… just saying.
