9. Remington College

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Number of Students: 492

Acceptance Rate: 78%

Rimmington college, more like. With little help in terms of financial aid, Remington College leaves students struggling to pay the annual tuition of nearly $22,000. Despite the school’s small population, students tend to exclude each other rather than band together. Many students have reported a cliquey atmosphere that makes it difficult to meet new people and form friendships. We think that $22,000 is a little steep for a repeat of high school. Texas is bound to have better and cheaper options that won’t make you feel like you’re in a bad remake of Mean Girls. (but really is there such a thing?)
