17. The Art Institute of Phoenix

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Number of Students: 834

Acceptance Rate: 100%

The Art Institute of Phoenix seems more interested in pocketing the tuition money than providing students with a quality education—which is only made worse by the fact that the credits earned here don’t transfer to other schools. Only 17% of freshmen live on campus, making for a depressing atmosphere and an uneventful campus life. Despite credits not transferring, 62% of students still choose to leave and continue their studies at other schools. For around $21,000 per year, there are much better options available in Arizona. Also you’re better off finding a job on craigslist after graduating, ouch!
