4. Prescott College

Location: Prescott, Arizona

Number of Students: 304

Acceptance Rate: 68%

There is a reason why this hip group of students are not shown on campus. At Prescott College, it might seem more like you’re paying $25,000 per year to attend a prison rather than a university. The school does little to provide financial aid and only 31% of students stick around for their entire undergraduate education. Not to mention, diversity is basically non-existent and the school has no fitness center- they expect you to train in the desert, duh! You’ll have to go searching for nightlife in town because the university is known for strict, on-campus housing rules. There’s nothing quite like escaping your parent’s rules and moving to a place with more rules.
