The 20 Worst Universities in Arizona in 2017

10. Northern Arizona University

Location: Flagstaff, Arizona

Number of Students: 21,494

Acceptance Rate: 78%

Unfortunately this gorgeous sunset view will not offer the warm fuzzies inside. As the university is expanding and accepting more students, the students are suffering from a lack of housing and difficulty getting into required classes—making for a stressful experience right off the bat. When students are actually able to get into classes, they find them unchallenging and not worth the nearly $15,000 per year that they’re paying. The housing is depressing and could use some renovations while the university’s sports teams are…well let’s just say nobody is expecting them to reach the semifinals anytime soon.
